Cape Town and the Cape Winelands are a golfer’s paradise. Some twenty golf courses nestled in enchanting landscapes are just a short drive away through the picturesque countryside.

A number of them are of top international standing. Unlike at most golf courses in Europe, life is relatively easy here for golfers. Handicaps are not required on most courses. Good humour is a must. Most golf clubs hire out good-quality golf sets of and also offer lessons by golf pros at favourable prices and of a high standard. Tee times can usually be booked on short notice and rates are generally much lower than in Europe.
